Member Networking

One of the most important benefits we offer to our members is immediate access to fellow member firms. We have a number of tools and activities that help our members obtain assistance from fellow members. These include:

Member Seminars and Telephone Roundtables – These programs, covering all major areas of firm practice and a number of niche specialties, build member expertise and professional relationships.

Regional Groups – Are designed to help members improve and expand their practices through increased networking and joint activity with fellow members who are close geographically.

Niche Services Firm Visitation Program – Allows members to visit fellow members to learn more about their specialties.

Membership Directory – Lists addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail and fax numbers, and partners and shareholders of all member firms who are ready to assist fellow members.

Member Newsletters – Our newsletters keep our member firms up-to-date on current and upcoming Association activities and member developments.

Members Only – Private section of our Association web site that contains a variety of databases designed to help our members’ practices.

Reference Guide of Member Expertise – This on-line resource contains detailed information on the expertise of individuals within our membership available to fellow members. Extensive directories are included denoting expertise by industry classification and within tax practice.

Niche Services of Members – This on-line directory lists the firm specialties of members and can be utilized by fellow members to obtain more information about these services or for client assistance.

E-mail Network – This frequently used communication tool allows members to instantaneously request assistance from fellow members, with E-mail groups covering 27 different areas of firm practice.

Summary of Operations of Member Firms – This annual survey provides a variety of financial, operating and services information of member firms. Members can compare their practices with other top firms in the region.

Membership Surveys – These updates provide detailed information on the practices of member firms covering such areas as tax practice, information technology and niche specialties.

North America and International Staff Lending Programs – These allow members to provide fellow members with professional staff support and enable professional staff to gain practice experience in other locations in North America and around the world.

New Member Orientation Checklist – Helps new members start taking advantage of the services and resources of the Association.
