Firm Assistance Programs

The Association has five firm assistance programs to help our members improve their practices. They are:

Peer Review Program – Administered as part of the AICPA – State Society Peer Review Program, many of our members have their triennial accounting & auditing practice peer reviews conducted through our Association. We have talented and experienced individuals from our member firms who serve as reviewers.

Leadership Development Program – Helps members enhance the leadership, management and business development skills of their personnel and assists with succession planning and the development of the firm’s next generation of leaders. The program for supervisors and managers includes workshops, telephone webinars and partner mentoring.

Business Development Program – Supports each member’s strategy for growth by improving individual sales and marketing performance, building a team approach, creating mentoring skills to expand the benefits to other professionals and laying the foundation for a sustainable business development culture. The program for partners and professional staff includes workshops, telephone webinars and telephone roundtables to review how members are implementing what is being learned through the program.

Practice Management Consultation Program – Assists members through in-house consultation from fellow members with virtually any area of firm management. This includes firm strategic planning, practice growth and development, client service, owner management, staff management, succession planning, office management, information technology, engagement management and financial issues.
