Firm Assistance Programs
The
Association has four firm assistance programs to help our members
improve their practices. They are:
Peer
Review Program - Administered as part of the AICPA - State
Society Peer Review Program, many of our members have their
triennial accounting & auditing practice peer reviews conducted
through our Association. We have talented and experienced
individuals from our member firms who serve as reviewers.
Leadership
Development Program – Helps members enhance the leadership,
management and business development skills of their personnel
and assists with succession planning and the development of
the firm’s next generation of leaders. The five year program for supervisors, managers, principals and partners includes workshops,
telephone roundtables, and partner mentoring with each participant.
Practice
Management Consultation Program - Assists members
through in-house consultation from fellow members with virtually
any area of firm management. This includes firm strategic planning,
practice growth and development, client service, owner management,
staff management, succession planning, office management, information
technology, engagement management and financial issues.
Tax
Practice Assistance Program - Helps members improve the
management of their tax practices through in-house consultation
from fellow members. Areas addressed include tax planning, programming
and flow, personnel, engagement management, quality control,
professional development and physical facilities.
