Firm Assistance Programs

The Association has four firm assistance programs to help our members improve their practices. They are:

Peer Review Program - Administered as part of the AICPA - State Society Peer Review Program, many of our members have their triennial accounting & auditing practice peer reviews conducted through our Association. We have a number of talented and experienced individuals from our member firms who serve as reviewers.

Leadership Development Program – Helps members enhance the leadership, management and business development skills of their personnel and assists with succession planning and the development of the firm’s next generation of leaders. The three stage program for supervisors and junior managers, senior managers and new partners, and experienced partners includes workshops, telephone roundtables, and partner mentoring with each participant.

Practice Management Member Enhancement Program - Assists members through in-house consultation from fellow members with virtually any area of firm management. This includes firm strategic planning, practice growth and development, client service, owner management, staff management, succession planning, office management, information technology, engagement management and financial issues.

Tax Practice Assistance Program - Helps members improve the management of their tax practices through in-house consultation from fellow members. Areas addressed include tax planning, programming and flow, personnel, engagement management, quality control, professional development and physical facilities.
